Following the birth of her daughter in 2020 Nancys passion for cooking from scratch was ignited, fuelled by a desire to nourish and honour her most precious possession in the entire world. As the months rolled into years and one baby became two, Nancys education on the importance of nutrition and her love for cooking grew day by day.

Nancy started to spend all of her spare time in the kitchen preparing food for her family, trying her best to avoid processed foods and as her creativity grew she decided to start documenting some of her creations via social media which is how Honey + Spice was born.

In tandem to this Nancy runs the social media and web content for Metanoia Mindfulness, a guided meditation by candlelight business created by her mum back in 2021. When Metanoia Mindfulness expanded their offerings to hosting retreat days earlier in 2024 Nancy was recruited in to prepare and package the food and gift bags and a gap in the market was identified - beautifully packaged, delicious retreat boxes, perfect for picnic style lap lunches! The boxes then evolved into delicious sharing plates woven between show-stopping decorative tablescape.

Nancy has been honing in on her creativity and is so excited to be able to extend her service offering to other event facilitators in the wellbeing community and beyond to help alleviate the stresses of hosting.
